A great way to save money on ink is to use the refillable cartridge that this comes with the pen. You can use any bottle of fountain pen ink. All you have to do unscrew the bottom of the pen, dip the pen tip into the ink and twist the black knob. This will draw ink into the pen and it is reusable.
